Hollow through shaft
All hollow through shaft encoders made by TR-Electronic provide an actual position value without any use of battery or counter. The rotary encoder can be carried by the hollow shaft. You have either a compact torque support spring made of steel or a fixing pin for a flange sided nut.
Three families 58, 80 and 110 cover shaft diameters 8 up to 50 mm. The whole range of interfaces is available as you are used to with TR-Electronic.
Two resolution classes perfectly fit your measurement requirements: CEH measueres up to 15 bit per turn, COH up to 18 bit per turn. Up to 256’000 turns are measured absolutely.
Even our encoders with safety integrated are available with hollow through shaft for 20 mm shafts.
