The BQS 224 drill breakage monitoring system from TRsystems is an extremely useful addition for turning and milling machines, machining centers and rotary transfer machines. The complete solution comprises sensor and control module.
The BQS 224 sensor reliably scans your tool or workpiece for presence and dimensions. With a multi-level sealing system the drill breakage monitoring device can cope with all the requirements of classic metalworking: emulsions, lubricants, aggressive coolants, fines and chips don't affect the sensor. With up to 10 million cycles the BQS 224 is extremely durable. The stylus holder has a diameter of 1,2 mm and can be adjusted up to a variable length of max. 165 mm.
